Our therapy dog
Ellen has been working with patients for 7 years.
She is trained to 60 commands and to hand signals, so she is often borrowed by therapists to assist in their sessions.

Note: Gravy bones are her favourite!

Initially your referral or enquiry is likely to generate a telephone or video call interview so that we can identify the area of your need and what you want to achieve. This helps us plan your appointment for appropriate and specific assessments.
Your second appointment will then start your rehabilitation plan that aims to work to improve your abilities and progress toward agreed aims and goals.
You will have "home work" to practice techniques or strategies taught to you during the session and we use what you bring back to show us to review how you are getting on, and how to adjust your programme. Yes, the target is a favourite homework task!
